The eHealth Department can refer to a long-time experience from international, national, and regional activities and projects. The basics have been set in 1981, as Bernd Blobel founded the Medical Informatics Department at the University Hospital Magdeburg (UHM). In that context, also some of the following European Projects have to be mentioned, team members have been involved in as project partners or national co-ordinators:
In the context of the 6th Research & Development Framework Programme (2002-2006) of Information Society Technologies of the European Commission the eHCC participate in the following projects:
